3/6/18 Pure Joy

Good morning healing team!

Cold raining days are behind us and time to enjoy sunny days. So there should not be any stress right? It does not matter if it is sunny or raining, stress is all around us.

James 1:2-4
“2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

Your muscle get stronger if you stress it. It goes the same for your faith. Your faith gets stronger if you stress/challenge your faith. More trails you go though with faith in God, your faith will grow stronger in Him. Stronger the faith you have, you can  endure more trails in Him.

I want to live happy and stress free. It make sense to avoid stress to live stress free. However, life is very interesting. More I try to avoid stress/struggle, I find myself in the middle of it.

So, I say, why not enjoy GOING THROUGH my stress today?
Proverbs 3:5-6
“TRUST in the LORD with all your heart, and lean NOT on your OWN understanding, in ALL your ways acknowledge HIM and He shall direct your paths.”

We all are going to face stress today, in fact, haven’t we face a few stress already? Just acknowledge HIM as the Lord, may not make sense to give up your control however trust HIM with all your heart, He shall show you what to do with it.

Don’t we get stress because things are not going our way? God has a plan for each of us and things tend to go according to His plan.

2/7/18 Winter Olympics and Good News

Good morning healing team!

It has been a while since I wrote last email. I hope you are doing well and stay healthy in spite of bad flu season.

In two days, 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics will start. It is very exciting and inspiring to watch what Olympians can do.

Olympics is a time that world get together and compete. Ninety two nations around the world will participate this 2018 Olympics.

The United States has an unique demographic. We are living in a melting pot. People from different cultures, ethnicities, races, and nationalities live a nd represent the United States. To harmonize this country, it is not a easy task.

How about the heaven’s demographic? Who do represent citizens of the heaven?

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Citizens of the heaven represented by people who believe in Jesus. Whoever believes in Jesus, not matter what your culture, ethnicity, race and nationality are, that He died for all our sins and he was raised to life on the third day. It is a free gift of eternal life in the heaven by God’s grace.

The first time I heard this Good News, I did not believe it. I just did not get it. In fact, I have heard this hundreds of time before I even consider to listen. It took me another hundreds of time to believe in Jesus.

I am sharing this because it is a great news!! Don’t you want to tell your friends, family or your co-worker if you can get a free Starbucks coffee on your birthday?

Mark 16:15
Jesus said “…“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. ”

Time to Go 10/2/17

Good afternoon healing team!

I hope your Monday is going well.

Last week, I was in Ghana for a mission trip with my wife and along with awesome eight worriers. It was great experience.

Those of you have not been to a mission trip, I dare you to go. It does not have to be an international, it can be a local mission trip or a national mission trip.

You just need to go if you have not done one yet.
Mark 16:15 “And then he told them, “Go into all the world (local, national and international) and preach the Good News to everyone “.

I thought a mission trip was not for me, (it was excuse for me not to go) I was wrong. I am glad I did. I know everyone can do it.

I would like to share two things I learned about prayers from this mission trip.

1. Pray like God is next to you. A lady named Comfort, she works with a local church in Accra, Ghana, She prays like God is sitting next to her and God is listening. When I pray, I pray God in Heaven. I feel a distance between God and myself. When Comfort is praying, God is definitely there.

2. Faith intentional prayer. When I pray, my faith rely more on what God has done instead of “faith” what God is going to do based on scriptures. Fatih is believing God is going to do without seeing or happening yet. A man named Benjamin, he prays without any doubt that God is going to do what he is praying for. And God answered his prayer immediately.

Mark 11:22-24
“Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. ”

Challenging loading…. Everyday 9/6/17

Good Wednesday morning healing team!

I would like to welcome to those who is receiving this mail for the first time.

Time flies by so quickly. It has been almost four months since I sent you an email.

I hope everyone enjoys a cool fall morning temperature this morning.

Priorities often changes when schools start. We need to add school, school activities, sports and homework somewhere in our already busy life.

We only have 24 hours a day, and some won’t get done. They will be added to the list for next day, and this goes on and on.

It is true that we are busy and there are too much things to do.

We are living in the “Instant pleasure seeking society”. We want instant changes and results.

When we look back in our human history, changes and results took a long time.

It is okay to take time to get some changes in your life. It calls “investment”.

Now, what are you investing on?

Proverbs 3: 5-6 TLB
Trust the Lord completely (can you do this?) ; don’t ever trust yourself. In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT
Trust in the Lord with all your heart (can you do this?);
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

Can you trust the Lord completely without any hesitation?
It is very tough question. An answer should be YES without any hesitations.

Having faith in God completely does not happen over night. It takes time. It takes a long time and it is not easy. It is a struggle.

Just spending a time in gym won’t get you stronger, you actually have to lift some weights to get stronger.

The same way, we need to lift the Word. Invest your time in spending in the Word and prayers are the first priority of your life. It will take time but your faith will grow.

Trust God, Put God first, and he will show your way in your busy life.

He may show you to cut certain activities in your life or bless you with more time to do so. I do not know what God has for you.

It is a challenging for me. However, how boring a life will be without challenges?

You are blessing from God 5/13/17

Good Saturday afternoon healing team!

I hope you are enjoying Mother’s day weekend.

This is true that Mother’s day gets more attention than Father’s day. There is nothing wrong with it.

Mothers, you are special. God created woman as the right helper for a man. (Genesis 2-20-21). Man was excited to see the women (Genesis 2-23).

If God did not create a women, Jesus was not born,(It is very important) because we, men, cannot give birth to human being, only women can.  So, we need you, and, thank you mothers.

Every one of us have the birth mother. This world is not perfect, some of you do not know your birth mother. Some of you knew your mother, but nothing to do with her. Whether you love your mother, do not know your mother, or nothing to do with your mother, however, you are blessing from God.

God blessed your mother to have you.

I understand there are many women dealing with infertility issue. Does it mean God is not blessing you? NO!, you are blessed from God and God has blessed you so much and the best is not yet to come!

Proverbs 3:5-6
5. Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.

1 Corinthians 2:9
9 But, as it is written,

“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the heart of man imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love him”—

Trust and Love God with all your heart, he knows your heart. Don’t be shy, just dive into Him.

Praying for God’s blessing, protecting and healing hands to all over mothers and mothers to be!

Where is your facing? 4/14/17

Good Friday evening healing team!

I hope you all had a great Friday.

Last week, a thought came into my mind right after I heard a phrase “She is in a better place”. This “phrase” often used when someone passed away. I googled this, many people have different opinions about it.

As a believe in Jesus Christ, “a better place” is Heaven where God resides and Jesus is sitting at right hand of God.

A thought came in my mind right after I heard the phase is, “T, if I believe heaven is better place, are you investing in Heaven?”

I have been thinking about my answer to this question for a while.

Yes, I have investments accounts and I have saving accounts for emergencies. Do I have investment accounts in heaven?

When I go on a vacation, I use my time and money saved for the vacation. Do I invest more time and money on my vacations than heaven?

Matthew 6:21 ” For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Luke 12:34 “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

God knows our heart clearly. 1 King 3:39

I used to pray and I still catch myself praying in the way I am not praying from my heart. I focused so much to pray “right” prayer so I was praying in my head instead of praying from my heart.

I tried to pray like pastors do. I tried to pray like group leaders do. I was trying to be someone I am not.

God knows my heart, why do I worry about trying to sound right? He knows what I am truly feeling and thinking.

I am not perfect, I often want to hide my heart from God. But I cannot hide my heart from Him. He knows my heart.

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. ”

God knows your heart. He knows if you believe in Jesus.

“5.Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Do you want to invest in Heaven? Trust God with all your heart. He will lead you do so.

Landing a plane is not easy 3/28/17

Good Tuesday afternoon healing team!

Those of you receiving my email for the first time, welcome!
I hope this will lift you up higher than you thought you would be today.

Imagine you are driving at dense fog night without headlights on. It is very challenging. Even it is your neighborhood with lights on, it is very hard to see with dense fog.

At the end of bible study last night, one guy shared a story about landing a plane at dark, dense fog night.

He had to land his twin props plane to an airport. It was night and atmosphere was covered by dense fog. Almost zero visibility. He tried to land at the airport, but fog was too dense, he could not land.

Plan B, He had to came out of clouds and diverted to near by airport. Fortunately, clouds were higher than last airport.

He lined up this plane with a runway before entering to clouds. There were zero visibility in clouds so only way to get sense of directions while he was flying thro ugh clouds were his instruments panel in front of him.

This particular instrument makes perfect “cross” when he lined up with a runway. It was his guide. If he came out of the path, the instrument needles swing left or right and up or down to tell him what corrections he needed to make to line up with a runway.

He told us he kept his eye on the instrument to maintain a perfect “cross” which leads him to the airport he wanted to land.

Finally, he saw a line of strobe lights leading to the runway and made a perfect landing.

Some of you are making the final approach to an airport in the storm right now. Maintain your a “cross” on the instrument. Trust the “Cross” will lead you there.

Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Some of you are making the final approach to an airport with a perfect weather, but not maintaining a perfect “cross” on the instruments.

I often tell God “I got this God, I see an airport, I do not need any instruments. When I land, I found out this is not an airport God intended me to land. Of course I missed it, because I kept my eyes off of “cross” so I did not realize I was landing to a wrong airport.

Proverbs 4:25-27
25Let your eyes look directly ahead, And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. 26Watch the path of your feet, And all your ways will be established. 27Do not turn to the right nor to the left, Turn your foot from evil.

Some of you may be lost in the clouds, first, calm down, look at your instruments, come out of clouds, call airport tower (bible) for the heading, keep breathing, a nd fix your eyes on “cross” and trust in the Lord with all your heart and just land it!!

Don’t forget about your co-pilot (friends, family and church), however, it is important to remember,  you can only land your plane where God want you to land. Your co-pilot cannot land it for you.

A double scoop chocolate ice cream 3/6/17

Good afternoon healing team!

I believe you are doing well.

A word “believe” is fantastic. It can make things moving and happening. If you don’t believe anything, nothing seems to be happening.

Back when you were little enough to believe in Santa Clause, your parents did whatever they could to make sure Santa Clause happened at your home in Christmas morning.

If you are parents, you have done whatever you could to make sure Santa happened in Christmas morning because your kids believed in Santa.

Luke 11:9-11
“9 “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.10 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.11 “You fathers—if your children ask for a fish, do you give them a snake instead?12 Or if they ask for an egg, do you give t hem a scorpion? Of course not! 13 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.”

When I took my son to Braum’s for the first time with him and I, he asked me if he could have a double scoop chocolate ice cream, I said yes. That was mistake. A 4 years old boy should not be eating a double scoop chocolate ice cream.

Since then, he always asks for a double scoop, but he has not given it yet. But eventually the day is coming. Until then, I am sure he will keep asking for it.

I have a list of prayers I have been praying for over and over for years. Yet, I have not received it. I am sure you can associated with this. God may be saying that I am not able to handle “a double scoop chocolate ice cream” yet. But, I will keep asking.

I am working on let the Spirit lead my life. Praying for the Spirit to lead me and grow me. When I the time to receive it, it is not by a mistake I received it, God makes no mistake, it is a true blessing from God.

Luke 10:23
“…“Blessed are the eyes that see what you have seen.”
This is Faith. You have faith in Him, you will be blessed.

Have faith in Him what he promised, keep asking, keep seeking and keep knocking on the door, you will be blessed.

Let the Spirit lead your way. He knows where to take you. In my case, not it is not Braum’s….yet.

Love bigger than anything 2/8/17

Good windy afternoon healing team!

Bugs and viruses are flying around, make sure to wash your hands often.
Don’t forget to wash your hands when you use restroom too!

FYI to gentlemen, Valentine’s day is next Tuesday.

We all are gifted with different things. My wife take care of me great. I am spoiled. Supper is warm and ready to eat when I get home. This is very important for me and she gets it done. I don’t want supper to get cold, so I usually start eating before I sit down. (Very bad table manner but I wash my hands before I eat).

Somehow, Flowers tend not to last too long at our household. I believe, because, I have seen her taking care of flowers, flowers do not find themselves at home well. It is a mystery.

However, I get my warm supper everyday even though flowers cannot find themselves at home…or maybe flowers need to eat something…. water is not enough for them. Spoiled flowers…

We see a lot of red hearts this tim e of the year. Instead of filling your home, office or school with a lot of red hearts, you can fill your body with God’s love. Living water is enough for us.

Ephesian 3:17-20
“17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

All Christians, Jesus resides in your hearts. He wants us to be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Can you imagine that? Filled to the MEASURE of ALL the FULLNESS of God? It is His measure. I assume it is huge.

Where do you start? I thought about it and this is where I start.

Mark 12:3 0-31
And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. 31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. No other commandment is greater than these.”

Remember, He resides in your heart. He knows our hearts very well. I believe it can be the first step to be filed to the measure of all the fullness of God.

The check list

Good Wednesday morning healing team!

How is your morning going? Let me start up with up beat. God loves you.
No one can take away His love from you and your Love for Him.

How do you remember what you need to do everyday? I believe we often make a check list in your head or on a piece of paper to helps us remember what we need to do.

We have check lists for home, work, kids activities, weekend activities, evening activities…. we are just slave of check list.

I received verses Ephesians 2:1-3 this morning. I read once and I understood the literature part of it but I did not get it like I usually do. I want to get it in my heart rather than my head. I read three more times. I was still feel like ????? in me. So I quite. NO!! We will not be quitters. I went on to keep reading rest of the Chapter and I came cross with this verse.

Ephesians 2:10
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good wo rks, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

God made us with His hands. He created our to do list for us already. The list is for us to do good works.

Sometimes in your life, you may just not “get it”. Well if that is the case, keep on doing until you get it. For me, it was only 6 verses away. Yours could be less than that.

Let’s get busy to work on God’s to do list for you to do good works!
