Great Monday morning healing team!
I hope your weekend was great.
On Friday night, we went to Matthew West (http://matthewwest.com) concert in Longview TX. It was one of the best concert I went. I think the best part of the night was that he shared the stories behind his songs. A lot of song he wrote came from the real stories from the real people.
The most inspired story was the story behind forgiveness. Check this out on you tube and get your kleenex ready. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9J6xOT3Ldw. Someone to be able to forgive what she went through is not easy. What she said about forgiveness is true but is not easy to do it. I hope this will help someone who received this email and watched video to free them from what they have been dragging for long ti me. ;
In the middle of the concert, he showed us a video of his visit to Haiti. He encouraged audience to support a child through the Compassion International (http://www.compassion.com).
After the video, my wife and I were on the same page to say yes to support a child. We now support a kid, his name is Ronny from Ecuador. The real cool story about this is that we are on the 30 days prayer and reading plan until Easter (https://www.fellowshipchurch.com/easterprayercalendar). It started on last Thursday night, and prayer was “Pray that you would be
open to God preparing
you for what He has
prepared for you this
Easter.” And Ronny’s birthday is this year’s Easter.
I have asked to support a child several times and never say yes to it. I probably was not ready back then. But we were ready on Friday night. If you are ready, go for it. If not, do not feel bad, it knew it is the right thing to do, but it took me years to be able to say yet. But, do not let your opportunity go when you are ready. You can tell when you are ready, because you feel it in your heart.
Have a great week!
P.S. Matthew West in coming to Dallas (4/5/14) and Beaumont (4/4/14). Enjoy!
