Lower back pain is not only for adults. Teens or even some kids suffer from lower back pain. In teens, most of the lower back is due to athletic related injuries. But I see more lower back pain in inactive young adults and teens also. Either way, lower back pain can sneak up to anyone from behind.
When we have pain, we were educated to take a pain medication. Instead, let’s teach our next generation to:
1. Put ice pack for 15 minutes every 1-2 hours after injury.
2. Make sure to drink plenty of water.
3. Take up to 2-3000mg of Omega 3
4. Have them get chiropractic adjustment and/or acupuncture.
As I always say, our body is designed to heal. It will heal very well when a body gets back in balance and sync. I understand there may be some challenges such as my kid does want to put ice pack on it or drinking water or omega 3. You are the parents. You are in charge. I know you can do it!
