Don’t hide the light 3/29/18

I hope your week has been great and ready for Easter weekend!

My week has been great this week; however, I was struggling last week. Satan is very sneaky and love to take over my heart and your heart if we let him and I let him last week.
(As I am writing this email, he is messing up my internet connection, thank God that I have a portable router)

I have a plaque with my to go verses on it. I put it where I can SEE it every time I sit on my desk. It is Probervs 3:5-6 NKJV
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

Satan hid the plaque in a middle of paper pile. I was struggling and under darkness for four days. I did not recognize that I do not have it on my desk until I came cross with that verses while I was searching for “encouragement verses” on last Friday morning.

When I read the verses, God pulled me out of darkness and I saw the light in the first time in four days.

Yes, satan got me good, however, God is greater!

Luke 8:16 NLT Parable of the lamp
“No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a bowl or hides it under a bed. A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house.”

His word is the light. Don’t hide His word under a pile of paper like I did. Have your to go verses where everyone can see it. You never know that your friends, family or coworkers need to be rescued from darkness like I did.

Christians have Him inside of us. (https://billygraham.org/decision-magazine/may-2009/does-the-holy-spirit-live-in-you/). Do not cover Him or hide Him. Place Him where everyone can see Him.

If you do not have a plan for Easter service, you can click church in rockwall.
You will see a list of churches with different services.

Church is not your thing? Well, go to a church anyways.
Bad experience? Everyone have bad days, right? Just try again or go to difference one.
Let’s invite people to your church!

Have a great Easter weekend!
