Good lunch time healing team!
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and enjoying Christmas season.
It is the most wonderful time of a year. Christmas lights and decorations light up a city to Texas winter wonderland.
I would like to share my spiritual eye opener experience today. First of all, I am diabetes some days, other days I am non-diabetes. Just like some of you may have high blood pressure some day and others days seems just fine.
I found out my blood sugar (glucose) level problem about a year and half ago. Since then I had been praying for my diabetes to get well and healed. What I wanted God to do is my blood sugar to be complete normal after eating whatever I would like to eat (especially ice cream potato chips everyday). Was I asking too much??
That prayer has not answered yet.
I was telling people that I can control my blood sugar level within normal range with diet and exercise. If I eat right (means no ice cream, potato chips, grains and anything to pike sugar level up), my sugar level stays fine.
About a month ago, I realized God healed my body already. He provided me with food that I can eat to control my sugar level. Eat right, sugar level is good. Unfortunately, ice cream and potato chips did NOT make the Master list. However, He answered my prayer even before I prayed for it.
I am sure we all heard this statement “God has the best plan for you”. Yes He does. His best plan for us, not our best plan. Yes He has the best plan for my body. His plan does not include ice cream and potato chips, however, my blood sugar level stays fine as long as I follow His plan.
God has the best plan for you too. You may struggle at work, home or health. If you have been praying and nothing has happened in the way you have been asking, maybe….maybe what you have right now is under His best plan for you for now or forever.
You may not like it, and I don’t like that I cannot eat ice cream or potato chips to control my sugar level, but He blessed me with food to eat and I can assure you it is better to have something to eat than NOTHING to eat.
Is your faith in God bigger than a mustard seed?
“He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
It is not talking about you have faith in God to move your spouse from kitchen to bring you a beer in the living while watching Monday night football. I believe it is about God’s power to do thing through your faith in Him. He is only asking a faith of a mustard seed.
Whatever your mountain is, have faith bigger than a mustard seed in God’s best plan for you, and witness a mountain move.
Have a great week!
