Good evening healing team!
If this is your first time to receive an email from us, Welcome to T Chiropractic and Acupuncture!
I have a tendency to “want” something I don’t have. Maybe it is a part of human nature…It is good if I use in the way to improve myself to be a productive member of a society, however, if I use it in the way to satisfy my selfish desires, that’s when I get in troubles.
I started to notice more about my grey hair in late twenties. I did not like it because I related having grey hair as aging instead of gaining wisdom.
No one wants to see any indications of aging no matter what age you are.
One day, I was at a duty free shop in Tokyo Airport. As a staff helping me check out, I was observing what she was tying in computer.
She typed my name, flight number and seat number. Then she clicked to the next screen and it asked “age range” and gender of a person who purchased the product.
Then she clicked on male and she picked the age range of 40s!!! I was like 36 or so then. Boy, I was so offended. At the same time, I thought “It gotta to be my grey hair made her think I am in 40s!”
Genesis 1:27 says God created us in his own image. We look like Him.
“So God created human beings in his own image.
In the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
So what does His hair looks like?
Revelation 1:14 Apostle John describes as
“His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire. “
Yes His hair is white! Eventually, my grey hair will turn to all white if they don’t fall off.
“Gray hair is a crown of glory;
it is gained by living a godly life.
“The glory of the young is their strength;
the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old.
My hair may start looking like Him, but am I starting to look like Him spiritually?
1 Samuel 16:7
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The LORD doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
I believe He does not look at my grey hair and says, “T, you are my child because your hair look just like me.”
I am assuming that He is more likely to say “T, you are my child because you have my dearly son, Jesus, in your heart”
10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. 11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
When God looks at your heart, what would you want Him to identify you as?
Have a great evening.
