Good afternoon healing team!
If this is your first time to receive an email from me, Welcome to T Chiropractic and Acupuncture!
I hope all of you had a safe and a great Fourth of July weekend.
We went to Japan to visit family and friends. Before visiting my family, we had a meeting for October mission trip with a missionary team in Takasaki Japan for two days.
After traveling two bullet trains and fighting through jet lag to stay up so I don’t miss station or trains, I was physically and emotionally exhausted when we finally got home.
The first thing I did, I took a nap. I only took a nap for 30 minutes before my friends come over but I was physically and emotionally refreshed.
Do you have those place that physically and emotionally that you can “let go” aka, relax?
For me, my wife whom I enjoy spending time together, takes care of me and family well and fixes the best sushi ever! My best friend who is there for me when I need anything and I don’t feel judged and feel safe to talk about anything. My parents home in Japan is another of those place. I feel well protected. I don’t have to do anything but somehow things are taken care of. And, Winter time in Colorado mountains, there is something special about just being on the mountains…peace.
But what I am going to do when my parents, wife and friends will not be with us anymore or I cannot go skiing anymore? Do I have a place to “relax”?
“1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
Actually it is much closer than I thought. It is me who dwell in the Most High. It is not my home or parents home, it is me to decide to dwell in Him all the time. He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
It is hot so drink water before you get thirsty!
Enjoy Texas summer!
