Pray the prayer 6/28/18

Good morning healing team!

I hope you are enjoying your summer. Wherever you are, don’t forget to drink plenty of water!

I would like to share Luke 22:41-45 today.
“41 He walked away, about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, 42 “Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” 43 Then an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened him. 44 He prayed more fervently, and he was in such agony of spirit that his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood. 45 At last he stood up again and returned to the disciples, only to find them asleep, exhausted from grief.
(You can find the same story from Matthew 26:36-46, Mark 14:32-42)

This happened before Jesus got arrested to be mocked and crucified. I believed it was the most hardest time of His life on the earth when he prayed the prayer on verse 42.

Mark 14:34-35
34 He told them, “My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death….35 He went on a little farther and fell to the ground

He just fell to the ground because His soul was crushed with grief to the point of death. He just could not walk anymore.

After a prayer on verse 42, God responded Jesus prayer with sending an angle to strengthen Him. Because of an angel’s encouragement and more prayers, He was able to stand up to do what he did for us.

I am not sure where you stand today. You could be on top of mountain where you can see everything, or at the bottom of valley seems like you can never get a break from a situation you are in.

But, pray your prayer from your heart. God will send an angel to strengthen you. An angel can be an angel, your friends, family or a stranger on the street may give you hug, a song from radio station or a text saying “I love you.”

I do not know what could be your angle be, but nothing won’t happen unless you pray.

Have a great day!
