Good Wednesday morning healing team!
If this is your first time to receive an email from us, welcome to T Chiropractic and Acupuncture.
It is cold and windy out there.
As a chiropractor, I see a lot of back pain and neck pain. I have had some came and told me” I have pain for two months now and it usually goes away within a week.” Symptom can be the same, however, a mechanism of pain may be different, which can leads to a longer recovery time.
Sometimes, I get this “something is off” feeling and oftentimes, it fixed by itself, but this time I had this symptom for a while.
I was struggling with a clear vision from God to how much financially and spiritually to help a missionary family who is trying to get back to Japan by the end of March. It should be easy to see how God wants me to help them since I am a Japanese and have heart for Japanese to have a relationship with God though Christ. BUT, it was not a case.
God usually clearly shows me what and how. How does God show me or communicate with me? A great question.
Before I became a Christian and the first a few years in my life walking with Christ, it was confusing for me when I heard,”God told me” or” God showed me”, because He never did. But, when I experienced it for the first time, I believed it.
For me, He usually communicates with me by giving me a thought. When it is from God, I feel it in my heart. That’s how I can tell.
How did I get there? From my experience, it comes from spending time with God by reading the bible and prayers.
I have not read an entire bible yet. But my friend and I were doing a bible study once a week for three and half years. That’s about 175 bible studies. We only have gone through Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians and we are on 2 Corinthians. It is not impressive how much we have covered, but the bible is deep. It takes time. As you dive deeper and deeper, God will talk to you. So don’t worry about if you have not opened the bible yet.
But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
Yes he will. It does not matter how much you know the bible, start reading, asking God to talk loud and teach you. He will.
2 Corinthians 4:16-17
16 But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
When we are studying last Wednesday, I felt a veil which covered my heart and mind were lifted and felt indescribable freedom.
On Tuesday night, my wife and I argued about we need to make a decision how much and what to support a missionary family about to leave for Japan.
I was tired of coming back to this because we have been talking about it since November and we almost always ended up with an argument. I could not see any clear direction from God to make a decision. I was blinded by satan.
On Tuesday night, I told her we are not going to support them.
However on Wednesday, God removed a veil covered my heart and mind.
On Thursday morning, yes He did, He gave me a thought of how much and when to start supporting them. I texted my wife that we are going to support them and she replied
“??????? lol I love you baby !!!!!”
2 Corinthians 3:18
So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
If someone goes somewhere warm and come back with a tan on their face especially on winter, we can tell. But if this person have covered his face with a towel while he was down there, he would not have gotten any tan.
In the same way, if you have had that veil removed, you are exposed to His light and getting His tan. You are reflecting Jesus on your face that others can see that tan (Him) on your face.
Satan does not like that. He wants you to get his dark tan.
Do not be like me that letting sneaky satan to put back a veil on my face and reflecting a darkness instead. Satan is sneaky, he may cover only a part of your face, heart or mind that makes it hard to tell what you may be struggling with.
Everyone struggles. If you want that veil to be removed, God can. In fact, He is the only one and He can set you free.
It does not mean that you won’t struggle anymore. You will. Lots of them. But, you get to walk with Jesus rest of your life here on earth and in heaven. He will teach you and guide you every step of your life. Remember John 14:26.
Every struggle you go through with Him, your faith will grow stronger by Him, getting equipped with His wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV
for we walk by faith, not by sight.
It sounds beautiful, but it is not easy, but one step at a time.
Lastly, here is a short video from the Coles family who has heart for Japan.
