Good afternoon healing team!
I hope your Monday is going well.
Last week, I was in Ghana for a mission trip with my wife and along with awesome eight worriers. It was great experience.
Those of you have not been to a mission trip, I dare you to go. It does not have to be an international, it can be a local mission trip or a national mission trip.
You just need to go if you have not done one yet.
Mark 16:15 “And then he told them, “Go into all the world (local, national and international) and preach the Good News to everyone “.
I thought a mission trip was not for me, (it was excuse for me not to go) I was wrong. I am glad I did. I know everyone can do it.
I would like to share two things I learned about prayers from this mission trip.
1. Pray like God is next to you. A lady named Comfort, she works with a local church in Accra, Ghana, She prays like God is sitting next to her and God is listening. When I pray, I pray God in Heaven. I feel a distance between God and myself. When Comfort is praying, God is definitely there.
2. Faith intentional prayer. When I pray, my faith rely more on what God has done instead of “faith” what God is going to do based on scriptures. Fatih is believing God is going to do without seeing or happening yet. A man named Benjamin, he prays without any doubt that God is going to do what he is praying for. And God answered his prayer immediately.
“Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. ”
My prayers for you to Go to a mission trip. You will be glad you did.
H ave a great week!
