Good Tuesday morning healing team!
I hope you had a great weekend.
I often use google map to get directions for where I need to go. It gives me a few options to get to a destination. I often pick a quickest way to get there.
However, once in a while, I pick second or third quickest option because I “know” an option I pick is quicker than an apps’ first option.
I believe God has the best path for my life and your life.
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
Yes, His Word will direct my path.
God tells me to take a left, However, I often finding myself telling God such as,
“God, making right turn here makes sense, because this will take me to I-30 and I can get to Dallas in 30 minutes. If I take left here God, You will make me to take a narrow country road, and often time, I get stuck behind a farm tractor and it will take me 60 minutes in good day to get to Dallas, so I will take right God.”
Ten minutes later, I-30 shut down and now I stuck on a bridge….
I believe we all do that. We think we know better than God.
His Word guides my path. How can I hear His word? A great question.
Do I clearly know His plan for me? No. Do I get worried or anxious about my future plan? Yes.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heat, and lean not on your own understanding: in all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.”
It’s faith in action. It is hard isn’t it?
One thing clear about His plan is marriage. I do not have a perfect marriage in human eyes or God’s eye. But, I would like to share fowling verses today.
“24 This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.
“6 But ‘God made them male and female from the beginning of creation. 7 ‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, 8 and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one,
God’s plan for marriage is so clear. United husband and wife as ONE, not two.
My wife and I should be ONE. But, I often making decisions for my wife and I by myself.
For example, I often decide about vacations, and convince my wife to agree with my decision. It’s a family vacation, my wife and I should have equal input on it.
This is working as two individuals instead of united as ONE, husband and wife.
Verse 9 ” let no one split apart what God has joined together.”
I believe this is not ONLY talking about divorce, if you are married, and making decision for TWO by one or acting in two individuals instead of ONE, it is splitting apart what God has joined together.
“32 All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had. 33 The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all. 34 There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them. 35 and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.”
Husbands and wives out there, can you united in heart and mind with your spouse as ONE?
Have a great week!
