Recent studies show the Qi is microcurrent energy, which is an electric. Electric requires to have a complete circuit in order for the electric energy to flow. Metal, which is commonly used for acupuncture needle, conducts electric. When the body loses natural Qi flow, you lost an electric circuit in your body. This happens due to deactivation of acupuncture points. In order to activate the points, we insert the needle, which conducts electric, to acupuncture points to reconnect the circuit.
